Wells’ young pianists are regular prize winners in national and international competitions, and the department has a particularly distinguished record in the BBC Young Musician of the Year competition.

Strawberry Concert 3: An eveing with Claire Martin

To worldwide critical acclaim, singer and broadcaster Claire Martin has established herself as a tour de force on the British jazz scene, winning the British Jazz Awards seven times. She joins our acclaimed resident big band, the Swing Machine Jazz Orchestra, for an evening of swinging standards.
