Wells Cathedral School Showcase

In this showcase, they will present an eclectic selection of their best performances over the past year, including a new work for brass ensemble by Paul Denegri, virtuoso pieces for flute and marimba as well as Schubert’s magical String Quintet.

The professional singers and players of tomorrow present another exciting programme of music that they have been working on during the year. This includes excerpts from Rossini’s beautiful Petite Messe Solennelle by Choralia, violin music by Bruch and a concerto for seven trumpets.
Wells Virtuosi Symphony Concert

Where: St Mary’s Church, Church Street, Beaminster, DT8 3BA
Wells Cathedral School’s Chamber Orchestra perform at the vibrant and varied Beaminster Festival. Works feature Mendelssohn’s Fingal’s Cave, Beethoven’s Symphony no.7 and Mendelssohn’s String Octet in E flat major.
